Biography
Julie has been part of the Nature United team for nearly a decade. In her current role, she helps ensure our philanthropy team has all the tools they need to be successful in raising support and awareness of Nature United’s mission. She leads philanthropy operations, donor communications strategies and key relationships with philanthropic supporters.
Julie has more than 15 years of experience in non-profit fundraising and donor communications. Prior to joining Nature United, she helped lead fundraising efforts for community-driven programming in the arts, volunteerism and early childhood education while managing a $1.5 million portfolio in private and public funding. Julie has a bachelor of arts in sociology and English from the University of Iowa.
In her spare time, she enjoys creative writing workshops, volunteering, and staying active by hiking, biking and exploring nature with her family.
