Biography
Joining the philanthropy team in early 2023 as Associate Director of Principal Giving, Jason works to build strong relationships with donors to align their passion for climate action towards making transformational-level impact on the body of work at Nature United.
As a Certified Fundraising Executive (CFRE), Jason brings 20 years of experience focused on major giving and capital campaigns. He was fortunate to lead two capital campaigns, including planning, case development, volunteer recruitment and training and gift solicitation for a $12.5M hospital campaign in Windsor, Ontario, and a $16M campaign at Providence Healthcare in Toronto. Most recently Jason raised major gift level support for sexual and mental health programs in Toronto.
Jason enjoys hiking and travel with his four-legged friend Doğa (Doe-ah, which means ‘Nature’ in Turkish) and his husband and partner of 21 years. Jason is engaging in wine studies and hopes to soon complete the series of WSET courses.
